Live radio broadcast ~ With Broadcaster Mr. John Berechet ~ September 2005
Following my winning of the classical guitar 16 & under event at the McDonald's Performing Arts Challenge, the Sydney Cultural Council faxed a media release to various media outlets.
Following an article in the Parramatta Sun (Fairfax) by Mr. Gerard Sutton, I was contacted by Mr. John Berechet from 2RDJ FM to appear on his "Sound Quality Show".

John was very friendly, warm and funny, always assuring me that it will be all right by saying "Don't worry, don't worry."

When the time came he said "Ready to go on air? Ready? Don't worry, just when I make a signal to you, Okay?.Check two, check two.All right you are listening to Radio 2RDJ 88.1FM, and from time to time we promote young talents and we are proud to do so all the time. Today we have a special guest in our studio, Alberta Khoury."

It was a bit crammed in the studio, so I sat in one of the corners and my guitar was almost upright.
That was a fun and warm experience especially when right at the end of the interview and after finishing playing Tarantelle John said "Alberta, it was really so good and, thanks for joining us on the Sound Quality Show." I thanked him by saying "my plezer, my pleasure". John finished by assuring me again "Fantastic, fantastic, it was really good, see?
I hope the lucky listeners in the Burwood area enjoyed my playing and had a good giggle.
